"Offset or Flexed terraces along the bedrock high"

  A physical model simulates the antecedence mechanism and exemplifies flexed terraces.  As the structure uplifts, the incising drainage abandons old floodplains or that become warped or flexed.  These features commonly occur along antecedent canyons in the Himalayan Mountains.
